So… Adam Lambert Didn’t Win American Idol

I am one of the millions of people who tuned in to watch the American Idol season finale
last night. I am also part of the millions of people who didn’t vote for anyone. The only
person I have voted for in American Idol history was Antonella Barba. And we all know
why I voted for her. She still hasn’t thrown together a porn video, which disappoints me.
Anyone I am thinking everybody and their brother was rooting for Adam Lambert, but
when you look at the big picture, this is actually a good thing. Cause Adam will have an
amazing career even without winning AI. And Kris Allen sort of needed the win to launch
his career. Kris Allen’s surprised reaction was absolutely priceless and it was a killer finale
with songs from Kiss and Queen. I was definately entertained. Some people are raising the
red flag and saying that Adam Lambert didn’t win because he is gay, but the fact is he didn’t
win because he didn’t get the votes.When E! asked him about his sexuality, he sort of
admitted while not saying it, that he was gay. He certainly didn’t deny it. E! asked, “Blogs
are going to say’ If he wins it’s because he’s gay, or if he loses it’s because he’s gay.’ What
do you think of that?” In which he responded, “Is that what they’re gonna say? [Laughs.]
Those blogs have a lot of opinions, don’t they? [Laughs.] I think Kris won because he is a
great artist and I was happy to be a runner-up to that.” Well E! was wrong. I don’t think
that he lost because he is gay. Like I said, he lost because Kris got the most votes. I person-
ally feel that Adam was the better singer/performer but Kris got the votes and therefore
he gets a very lucrative recording contract. This just isn’t my year for reality shows. First
that old bitch Helen wins The Biggest Loser and now Kris wins American Idol I just can’t
catch a break.
