Just got finished watching the season premiere of Dexter and I am very satisfied
with what I saw. I have benn following the Dexter series for some time now and
it is one of my favorite shows. I usually don’t blog on Sunday nights and when my
friend asked, “why are you blogging on the weekend?” I said, “I’ll blog whenever
I like GOD DAMN IT!” I was concerned that with a new baby and all kinds of bull-
shit that Dexter wouldn’t be able to get a kill in on the first episode but I was wrong.
And also like most other episodes the episode ended with a cliff hanger. I will blog
every Sunday after Dexter just to throw in my two cents. *SPOILER ALERT*
detective Batista and Lieutenant LaGuerta or however the hell you spell her name,
are having an affair. This will usually, if my experience with watching tv shows
says anything, means that one of the two characters will end up leaving the show.
If you read the book Darkly Dreaming Dexter the book that the show was based
on you will find out that Lt.LaGuerta dies. I seriously doubt she will die in the show
but I could totally see her getting written out. As for the quality of the show I have
to admit that the first episode of this season was just as good as the first three seasons.
