I am a mom of 5 children and me and my husband always vent just like the Goslins. If we dont do it with each other then we yell at the kids for things that arent there fault. Can you imagine haveing 8 kids just acting like kids all day long making messes, fighting, crying, and all they are doing is being normal kids. Wouldnt you be a little bit irritated? It doesnt mean you dont love your life or family its just hard. Then when you are the one at home that doesnt get any adult conversation all day or interaction with other people you feel angry at the spouse that gets to leave in the morning and gets to be the one the kids call the fun parent, all beacuse they get the time in the day to step away from the situation and come hom ready to deal with home life. Its hard and I think that it is better for them to fight and argue with each other then to take it out on there kids. I agree with the article.
